Local Delivery (GTA)

$15 Flat Rate Toronto

$20 Flat Rate Rest of GTA

We are pleased to offer our customers in the GTA the option of same day Local Delivery. This method of shipping offers our customers in the applicable region a flat shipping rate, varying between $15-$20, based on your postal code. To find out if your address is located within this range, simply enter your address at checkout.

Local Delivery orders ship every weekday. Orders must be placed online by 10am to ship same day. Orders placed after 10am or on weekends will ship on the next shipping day.  

Delivery takes place between 12pm-8pm. You will be notified by the driver about 30 minutes before your delivery. You will also be notified by the driver once your delivery has been completed.  

Deliveries do not require a signature, and if no one is available to receive the delivery in person, it will be delivered to your porch, left with your concierge, or in a safe place according to the driver’s discretion. If you prefer not to have your delivery left at your door/porch etc., please be sure someone is home between the hours of 12pm-8pm on your delivery day to receive the delivery. No second delivery attempt is made.

Good Rebel is not responsible for lost or stolen packages, nor can we provide compensation for deliveries that are refused by customers, or cannot be delivered to customers because they are not available to receive them and there is no safe or appropriate place to leave them (e.g. In the case of tenants of apartment buildings without concierge service who do not respond at the time delivery is attempted, and the driver cannot access the lobby or mail room). Good Rebel is not responsible for losses that occur as a result of packages being left unclaimed or uncollected by the customer after delivery.

We are unable to deliver to PO boxes. 

Orders are not shipped on holidays. 

Refrigerated and frozen products are shipped in insulated packaging, and contain ice packs to maintain an optimum temperature. However, despite these precautions, your products may arrive thawed. Just like unpacking store-bought groceries on a hot summer's day, this should not typically be cause for concern. Being plant-based, our products are not considered hazardous foods, and temporary temperature variations should not compromise the safety of a product. However, please use your judgment in each case in determining your own level of comfort.

Tracking Your Order

When your Local Delivery order ships you will receive a tracking link by email. This will offer you real time tracking information on your delivery.

The ice packs we use are non-toxic and can be reused many times! They may also be donated to local food banks, schools or community centres, where accepted.

FedEx Delivery (Canada-Wide)

Cost is determined by FedEx at checkout based on customer location and weight and size of shipment.

We strive to have all FedEx orders shipped within one business day, with exception to those containing frozen and refrigerated goods, which are currently shipped on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The cutoff for refrigerated/frozen orders each week is currently 11am EST Wednesday. Orders containing perishables that are placed after 11am EST on Wednesday will be shipped out the following Monday (or Tuesday, if Monday is a holiday).

The shipping speed will vary based on which FedEx service chosen at checkout. After we have submitted your order to FedEx, any delays are unfortunately beyond our control, and the customer must contact FedEx directly to obtain more information regarding delayed shipments.

If shipping to an apartment, be sure to indicate the unit/buzzer number in the shipping address at checkout. If an apartment is above a commercial unit, customers must also indicate this on the shipping information, otherwise the courier must assume the delivery is intended for the ground floor unit, and will not know to call upstairs.

If the apartment building does not have security or concierge service, FedEx is unable to leave the parcel unattended in the lobby or on the curb, for risk of theft. In this case delivery will be attempted again the following business day. We advise customers ordering perishable items to use their discretion when shipping to these types of buildings, because ongoing delivery delays may compromise the quality of your products and Good Rebel is not responsible for their replacement.

Cold Shipping with FedEx

Orders shipped using FedEx, containing refrigerated/frozen products are only shipped on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (except on holidays). Orders must be placed by 11am EST Wednesday latest for shipment with FedEx that week, otherwise they will be held until the following Monday (or Tuesday if Monday is a holiday). This is because any delay to a shipment over a weekend when courier companies are closed may compromise the quality of the product. 

It is the customer's responsibility to select the fastest method of shipping at check out for any shipment containing refrigerated or frozen goods. Products that are perishable will include a note in their description indicating this. It is also advised that these parameters be applied to any chocolate products during the months of June-September. We very strongly recommend choosing a shipping method that delivers the product to you within no more than 2 business days, and customers are strongly discouraged from selecting Fedex Ground shipping for these items. Selecting Fedex Ground shipping for cold items is done at the discretion of the customer. Despite often showing a delivery timeframe that is the same as the more expensive Express rates, Ground shipments do not guarantee that delivery timeframe. 

We strongly advise all customers living in apartment buildings to ensure they have entered their unit number in their shipping address, and that someone will be home on the day of delivery. Unless your apartment building has concierge service able to accept parcels on residents' behalf, FedEx will return your parcel to their warehouse and try delivering again the following business day. Good Rebel is not responsible for losses resulting from these delays.

Once your order has shipped, you will be sent a tracking number. As soon as your package is taken into FedEx's care, only FedEx can provide the latest location updates for your parcel. You can check on your parcel's delivery timeframe by looking it up on www.Fedex.com or by calling FedEx at 1-800-GO-FEDEX.
