Support for Animal Welfare Non-Profits
Good Rebel was created to make the world a better place for animals. It is in that spirit that our sandwich benefit was created.
Since 2016, each month Good Rebel has selected a different non-profit group that advances animal welfare, health or rights, to which we make a donation. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, our monthly donation consisted of a share of the proceeds from our house-made vegan sandwiches. One of the impacts on our business of the pandemic and our attempts to flatten the curve was the pivoting of our business model to online only, which included halting our fresh food production.
However, we are still committed to using our platform and resources to supporting the groups that are working to make the world a better place for animals. We now offer the option to add a donation to the featured charity to your online purchase, which Good Rebel will match dollar for dollar.
Since August 2020, groups are featured for a 3 month period, in order to maximize the impact of the funds raised for that group.
