SHOPPING DURING THE COVID-19 CRISIS

Are you open for in-store shopping?

Yes! As of June 6, 2022, we are back open for in-store shopping. Masks are still required to enter the store. If you choose not to wear a mask we would be happy to serve you if you give us a call from outside the store, and we can explain your shopping/pickup options to you.

Do you still offer in-store pickup for online orders?

Yes! We are still offering the option to shop online and pick up your order in-store.

How does it work?

You’ll find everything we carry in store available in our online store. Like any other e-commerce retail experience, you’ll do your shopping online, pay online, and then come by for pickup (or select delivery, if preferred).

When do I pick up my order?

Our pickup window is 12pm-6pm, 7 days a week. Your order is ready for pickup 1 hour after you have placed it. If your order is placed after 5pm, you can pick up the next day. 

You will NOT be contacted to arrange a pickup window, your order will always be ready for you 1 hour after you place it. 

Orders that are not picked up within 10 days will be cancelled and store credit issued for the value. 

How does pickup work?

Come by according to our pickup schedule (see above) wearing a face mask prior to entry (scarves and face shields NOT accepted), and bring your order number with you.

Tell the Team Member your order number and name, and your order will be packed up for you in our recycled paper bags.

All cold and frozen items are stored accordingly until the moment they are packed for you at pickup.

Can I add something to my order?

Unfortunately we are not able to process add ons once your order has been placed, but you can always place another order for your extra items and pick them up at the same time, or pick them up when you pop by to pick up.

 

Can I send a friend/Uber/taxi to pick up my order?

Absolutely! Please ensure they have your order number, name, and are aware that they must wear a mask prior to entry, and be aware of our physical distancing policy. 

Why am I being asked for my shipping address at checkout if I want to pick up?

Your shipping address is required at checkout for all orders- the platform automatically uses this as your billing address.

SHIPPING

Do you ship?

Yes!

We offer both same day Local Delivery across the GTA Monday-Saturday, as well as FedEx shipping across Canada. We ship all our products, with the exception of a couple of things, such as ice cream and croissants. Any item that is not eligible for shipping has this noted in its description. If purchased for shipping, its cost will be refunded. 

How are shipping rates determined?

Local Delivery is a flat rate of $15 for Toronto, and $20 for the rest of the GTA.

Canada-wide FedEx rates are determined by FedEx at checkout, based on the weight and size of your order, as well as the distance travelled, and the speed you have selected. You will see these shipping quotes at checkout.

Do you ship with ice packs?

Yes! Good Rebel covers the cost of all shipping material, including insulated shipping materials and ice packs.

I would like my order shipped, but I accidentally selected in-store pickup at checkout.

Please contact us to have an electronic invoice sent to you for the shipping charges for your order. You will receive the invoice by email, with a link to click through to pay securely through our online store. Once payment has been received, your order will be shipped out according to our shipping schedule.

I'm not seeing shipping methods at checkout.

Please avoid using Express Checkout and Apple Pay, as these can restrict the shipping and pickup options that you see at checkout.

Is everything you sell vegan?

Yes!

What are your top product recommendations?

Good Rebel is a specially curated marketplace of the best vegan grocery items available in Canada. Therefore everything is tried tested and true, but everyone’s taste is different! You can sort items by Best Seller to get an idea of what’s popular. We also encourage shoppers to give us a call and speak to any of our Team Members about their recommendations.

What if the item I want is out of stock?

We receive multiple shipments of stock every day. When sold out, most products will be restocked within a few days, but unfortunately some items are less regularly available when companies experience production issues. If you’d like more information on a particular item, shoot us an email at info@goodrebelvegan.com.

How do I get my product listed at Good Rebel?

Good Rebel offers a very carefully curated selection of the best vegan foods available in Canada. We are very thoughtful in our selection process and require all our listings to be of quality and value. Do you sell gift cards?

Yes! We sell electronic gift cards for our online store, available here. Please note that electronic gift cards purchased via our online store can only be redeemed in the online store.

We also offer physical gift cards, sold in-store, which are only available for use in-store, and cannot be redeemed online.
