One Time DONATION To Our Featured Non-Profit: Shelter Ugolyok (Ukraine)

Good Rebel is deeply honoured to feature Shelter Ugolyok in Ukraine as the beneficiary of our ongoing fundraiser. Shelter Ugolyok is a vegan farm animal sanctuary, and is the largest sanctuary of its kind in Europe. Shelter Ugolyok cares for hundreds of rescued cows, sheep, horses, goats, donkeys, ponies, cats and dogs.
In addition to the valuable rescue, advocacy and adoption work they do for animals, this compassionate organization is facing the threat of ongoing and intensifying violence due to the Russian invasion and attacks on Ukraine. While the declaration of war by Russia has forced many to flee to neighbouring countries, the volunteers at Shelter Ugolyok do not have the ability to relocate the rescued animals and are staying to care for them. Shelter Ugolyok is also doing their best to take in animals whose families are fleeing the attacks and cannot take them with, and are supporting other smaller local shelters as well. Good Rebel is honoured to support the work and courage of this organization.

About this donation:
Since 2016, each month Good Rebel selected a different non-profit group that advances animal welfare, to which we make a donation. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, our monthly donation consisted of a share of the proceeds from our house-made vegan sandwiches. One of the impacts on our business of the pandemic was our pivoting of our business model, which included ending our sandwich production. However, we are still committed to using our platform and resources to supporting the non-profit groups that are working to make the world a better place.
Since August 2020, groups have been featured for particular period, in order to maximize the impact of the funds raised for multiple groups through the year.
To support this period's beneficiary, simply add the $5 donation to your cart, with the quantity you would like- the minimum amount is of course $5, and you can add as many multiples of $5 as you would like.
At the end of the period, Good Rebel will match the amount raised, dollar for dollar, and electronically remit the funds raised to the beneficiary.
